Game Overview

Your dogs have been dognapped by a beaked lunatic named Glorkon who stuffed them into his eye holes and is using their life essence to destroy the universe. You're partnered with Trover, a little purple eye-hole monster who isn’t a huge fan of working or being put in the position of having to save the universe.

My Contributions

I joined the studio to help make funny, imagintive, story driven VR Game experiences of all sizes right as vertical slice was wrapping up. My responsibilities included:

  • Gameplay scripter across multiple missions and sequences. Key contributions included:
    • AI behaviors, player input / VR motion controls, save game and gameplay systems.
    • Seamlessly implemented scripted sequences and IGCs (In Game Cinematics) where they intersected with combat encounters across the game.
  • Collaborated with Narrative, Level, and Systems Design teams to assess their needs for key systems and make updates or create new systems based on the requirements.
  • Liaised with other departments to create and maintain tools for workflow improvements.
